How to open current version after baselining a module

Hi,
I'm trying to write a DXL script that will baseline a module, then edit some attributes in the module.
The thing is calling create(), aka baselining, closes the module. So I have to re-open it again before I can continue on to edit the attributes.

I have the following code:

modFullName = fullName (current Module)
create(nextMajor, "") //creates the baseline
read(modFullName, true) //open it again
write(modName) //give it write access.

Even though modFullName is just a string containing no baseline information, at the step "read", the baselined version is shown, therefore I have no access to modify attributes since it is a baselined version.

So how do I open the current version after the baseline is created?

Thanks!

use "edit" instead of "read".
omit the "write", this is used for opening a Stream (i.e. writing data to a file)
